The Insurancenter is an associate-owned marketing organization which provides insurance, risk management services and non-insurance services for clients in carefully chosen markets. Our highly skilled and dedicated associates create opportunities by understanding client expectations and striving to exceed them. We value entrepreneurial spirit, personal integrity, teamwork, mutual respect, professional development, long-term relationships and community involvement. We are in business to solve problems for our clients, create opportunities for our associates, earn a fair profit for our owners and contribute to the well-being of the communities we serve.

Our Experience
At the Insurancenter we are proud of our commitment to the education and growth of our associates. We believe it is vital that the people who serve our clients are informed and up-to-date on the latest innovations in risk management services. Our 35 associates hold 40 professional designations and

In December 2006, The Insurancenter was selected as the number one Best Place to Work in Southwest Missouri. The Best Places to Work survey was conducted by Springfield Business Journal/Joplin Tri-State Business, and sponsored and judged by Whitlock, Selim & Keehn, LLP, a Springfield CPA firm, who also tabulated the results. On May 2, 1996, The Insurancenter was the first company to receive the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the year Award in recognition of outstanding contributions of small business to the economy and the overall progress of the Joplin area.
In addition, since 1995, The Insurancenter has been selected to be part of an elite group of independent insurance agencies around the United States participating in the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA) Best Practices Study Group. Of the 30,000 insurance agencies in the nation, approximately 900 were nominated. The Insurancenter is one of 30 agencies in their revenue category, and one of 195 in the country to be recognized as a Best Practices Agency. To be chosen, agencies have to be the top-performing agencies in their revenue category. An IIABA affiliated state association or an insurance company must first nominate the agency which then must qualify based on outstanding customer service, growth, stability and financial management. We consider it an honor to be nominated and selected as a Best Practices Agency, and "Small Business of the Year," proof that our "Exceptional People. Superior Results" is not just a tag line. it's a commitment to our profession and to the clients we are privileged to serve.
