The Insurancenter is a division of Glatfelter Insurance Group and is an employee-owned company. Every associate has a personal stake in making certain that our clients’ needs and expectations are met. We are especially proud of the long-term relationships we have developed with families, individuals and businesses.

The Insurancenter represents a carefully selected group of financially sound insurance carriers, and we negotiate skillfully to achieve the right combinations of coverage, cost and service for every client. Our associates are dedicated to providing the highest level of service and demonstrate this by their level of professionalism and commitment to continuing professional education.

Since December 2006, The Insurancenter has been selected as one of the best places to work in Southwest Missouri. The “Best Places to Work” survey was conducted by Springfield Business Journal/Joplin Tri-State Business, and sponsored and judged by Whitlock, Selim & Keehn, LLP, a Springfield CPA firm, who also tabulated the results. The Insurancenter was the first company to receive the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce small business of the year award in 1996, in recognition of outstanding contributions of small business to the economy and the overall progress of the Joplin area.

In addition, since 1995, The Insurancenter has been part of an elite group of independent insurance agencies around the United States participating in the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA) Best Practices Study Group.

Of the 30,000 insurance agencies in the nation, approximately 900 are nominated. The Insurancenter is one of only 30 agencies in its revenue category and one of 195 in the country to be recognized as a best practices agency. To be chosen, agencies have to be the top-performing agencies in their revenue category. An IIABA affiliated state association or an insurance company must first nominate the agency, which then must qualify based on outstanding customer service, growth, stability and financial management.
